Well I have had my student (Shawn) on the truck now for a week, and we have run really well thus far. We left Richmond last Wed. And went to Swanton, Oh. From Swanton we bounced to Holland, Mi./ Forest City, Ark. Forest City/ Brooklyn, NY. Brooklyn, NY/ Forest City, Ark. Moscow, Tn/ Richmond, Va.. And now were on a load to Chandler, Az., we have to deliver this Friday morning by 0800. Our goal tonight is Amarillo and then an easy 770 mile ride to Chandler tomorrow. Be safe and productive.

Runningman, do you know if they hire out of Mass. I noticed there were a couple of your trailers in Methuen MA at Columbo yogurt. Thanks

Made our delivery in Chandler, Az. this morning then bounced over to Riverside, Ca. We are scheduled to pick up a load tomorrow at 1700 going to Ohio. I checked the 5 day forecast across 70 and it looks clear so I thing that's the way we will run back across. Have a safe and productive week.

Good deal, I have been lucky so far this Winter, I haven't really been in any real bad snow. Some winters it seems I hit every storm, and some winters I avoid the majority. Have a safe ride down to Laredo.

O well some much for my Texas load. Took my break at the Georgia welcome center last night, got my day started then shortly after hitting the interstate 3mins later "stop engine fault" light pops on, truck started losing speed. Load got repowered Volvo getting towed to Atlanta to the dealer.

Stayed out three weeks and had good miles all three weeks. My student Shawn is very comfortable behind the wheel and he got to experience several different conditions this trip including driving across the Rockies, snow, fog, torrential rain and gusty winds. He handled them all with a great attitude and the willingness to learn. That's all I ask when I'm training someone.
We had to put the truck in the shop for a few days , so I grabbed a loaner to take home for the weekend. I will deliver this load in Rock Hill, SC tomorrow and then be off until Monday. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
