Doesn't sound fishy to me... sounds like this driver screwed the pooch and his road test was failed.. end of story.
-
It would be pointless.. I've had a prospective driver do exactly that...( he couldn't keep his truck in the lane and rolled backward at intections.. the "supervisor" is actually just another examiner that has to go and meet the standards that the other examiner does, the only thing that could happen is that the student driver could be retested... and thats the issue in this case. its not the examiner.. people fail these tests every day.. the problem is that the school doesn't have a system in place (or free system in place) to allow for more training and retesting.

don't dwell on BS that does/will rear up in the biz, do what you can and move on
-
and if he pulled a button hook maneuver as the ND CDL Manual shows people to do and the examiner failed him for that, that's bs.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
i would demand the school do one of two things re-fund or re test.
-
That's a lot of BS. The school I'm currently attending was tested the same person 6 times. The guy has failed the test everytime but, now the school's third party examiner can not test this person again because of the state rules. Now the school is going to bring the truck to the state examiner one time and if he don't get it that time he is done.

So you failed because of that stupid hill and speeder huh.Study looking around and far ahead before retaking the test. From your post it sounds like the tester yelled at you to stop because you would have kept going and hit that car is what i'm gathering. No matter if the other motorist is at fault, you always have to watch out for them. Many don't know what yield means, speed limits ect ect trk drivers are the same way.Always be on the defense.

Oh really? So this kid fails his road test because some #### tard 4 wheeler comes over a hill and doesnt want to stop and wait for a truck making a turn? This is just like me being docked 12 points on my road test for refusing to turn into a 100ft long left turn only lane at 4:30 on a friday in a city of 250,000 people. Road testers have no common sense now days. And 4 wheelers have no fricken respect for truck drivers but after reading all your other replies you obviously dont care too much about truckers rights. And trying to make this a better industry for all of usCantThinkOfAName Thanks this.

If this student would have just stopped when he seen him coming then he'd have his CDL right now. When you're making a turn especially in a semi you always have to keep your eyes moving. Many times ive made turns and stopped right in the middle because some 4wheeler thought he was the king and just had to be somewhere.
walstib Thanks this.
