Well your chances of getting the officer to remove it would be better if the judge dismisses it first. But, then that would be logical and we know there isn't much logic left in this country. It also seems logical that if the judge dismisses a ticket, that should be all you need to remove it from your DAC.

Tell them right away. If your truck has qualcomm or some other type of gps, you can get records of your speed at that time and if your correct on your speed it will help in your fight.

Correct, should not go on your DAC. Still worth fighting even for your personal vehicle insurance.

If u was given an inspection reporrt with speeding on it. Your guilty... Even if ticket gets dismissed. U need to tell them. Inspection affects CSA not a ticket...

All I can say is this, any more I think all tickets show up. They are now doing everything by the book. I had a parking ticket in a big parking lot while in the truck reading my map to get to the final spot. Officer just whipped in, jumped out and started writing. It said on the ticket, 18 wheelers are to be around back for del and parking, there was no signs and court dropped it because of that. And guess what it was still on my record even though it said dropped on the same report. It was still there for new employers to see and for me to sign on the company report yearly til it ran out of the time and just dropped off. So IMO it could still show up no matter who writes it, or what happens. It's all logged anymore today for employers to see your past driving record as they see fit. So if you are always getting tickets and a lawyer gets them removed it shows a history of your driving. Now if the lawyer can get them to remove it from the record I know nothing on that. I try my best to stay within the law as much as I truely can, but we all know sometimes it just happens whether you are right or wrong in the matter. You just can't for see how the cops day has went and what he interpets the law to be verses you. Thats when the bear bites hard sometimes. All in all stuff happens everyday and we have to deal with a whole bunch of dumb stuff out here, thats what in my opition makes us a better bred than most. Pull up the big girl pannies and Hammer Down and Get'r Done! Good Luck! :biggrin_25514:

If you get it dismissed or reduced you are still going to have to disput the CSA points the original ticket got you. Speeding tickets that are 6 mph or more carry CSA points even if it is a warning. You have to deal with the ticket in court first and then deal with the CSA.
