Actually the compressor is working fine now and as long as I don't shut her off things shouldn't matter with the starter but I am still awaiting the folks to give Poly an estimate on cost before they make a decision on whether to roll on or not. Getting pretty tired of this rest area after 24 hours

 

Wow, just got offered any one of 16 loads leaving out on Sunday Chose a multistopper ending in Sparks, NV.

They do not run into Cali.

 

Well the old beast is back on the road following a fairly rapid change of starters and as I told our mechanics it didn't need an air compressor which the shop guy verified. That would have had me laid up until Monday. Sitting at the Del Monte factory in Topeka and for the ones that have been here before I know you can feel my pain The last 30 or so hours of playing phone tag, waiting on mechanics, etc. etc. etc. is sure in a hell a lot more tiresome than actually rolling down the road. Need a hot shower to make things right again.
