LuckyLady, That catfish is a Wells Catfish, And was caught in Spain if my memory serves me right, And the picture has been floating around for a good four years..We don't have that type of catfish here in the U.S.
This sure is one big Catfish, I would love to go over yonder and tangle with one, I think the world Record Wells catfish caught on Reel and rod, is 700 plus pounds...

Yeh, I saw this pic posted at a local bait shop in indy and the note read that it was caught in lake texoma, so I looked it up on the internet and found that it was a wells catfish, not a species found here in the states and it was caught in denmark, spain or somewhere like that, like Mr Sleepy said. OOOOH!! would I love to reel something that size in my boat!
