For me, the biggest problem was a complete lack of miles. I made under $1300 in the month I was there, and sat for 2 weeks at Christmas. I asked for 3 days, they said it would be a week, turned out to be 2 weeks. I couldn't even afford to go back out on the road and make money. The dispatch struck me as not being very good at planning routes. We had a lot of runs that were finishing up other people's runs or were routed to drop our runs at the yard to pick up other people's runs. We had one week where we got 5000 miles, the rest were 1500-2000 mile weeks. Except the last two which were zero mile weeks. Our DM was a nice guy, friendly, but didn't get us any mileage.

I have been a succesful lease op with henderson for over three years. ( I made 317,000 last year) All I have to say about this post is we all have good or bad expierences with companys.Henderson has the best lease program I have ever dealt with. They expect you to do your job to the best of your ability and they will treat you good. Yes they occasionoualy give you a load that's already late, you tell them what time you can be there and they'll reschedule. It's all about communication!

I have been with Henderson for almost 3 years now. I agree with lotofmiles, the only way that you will make any money is if you actually put in work. Instead of slamming companies on here shouldn't you guys be out there rolling and making money. Henderson does a great job of retaining their drivers, and the ones that quit always want to come back. Of course they want to communicate with you over the Qualcomm, can you imagine 1 dispatcher with a board of 50+ drivers calling them all day. With Qualcomm you actually have documentation of what was said in case you have to prove that something was said. What is boils down to, if you can't make it at Henderson then you probably won't make it anywhere else. Laziness gets you nowhere in this industry.
Tavonte Battles Thanks this. -
I just spoke with them again, some things that kinda worry is the layover and detention policies, $25 after 24 hours? thats a bit rough
