Yep, like they said, check the cord end first, you found no power at clearance and tail pins. Now pull the cord out at the socket end at the back of your truck and see if your truck socket has power. Corrosion is a big and common problem. If you still have no power at the socket see if you can pull back the rubber boot and check for burn or corroded connection, like they mentioned. If you still have no power, see if you can follow that main harness. There is usually more connectors along the way, which may be another spot for a corroded or burnt connection. Also keep an eye open for any rubbed through spots. Most trucks the tail and clearance light circuits are two completely separate circuits with each their own fuse feed and relay. But the each relay is trigged by the actual head light switch in the truck, or marker light switch. If you can find the trailer tail and clearance marker relays, listen for them to "click" when the lights are turned on, that way you can eliminate them from the problem.

Hello everyone,
I have no power in the trailer clearance light socket in the external fuse box in my Volvo, any idea how to fix it?
There’s no power in the socket, so changing fuses doesn’t help, relay is good, because the one for marker lights is identical and I swapped them, clearance lights work on either one.
Where do I go from here? -
No power in the socket on the truck? If so, and fuses and or relays are good then you have to check the wiring from the fuse box to the socket. If there are any connections between them, check those first.

Thank you, I found it it was indeed a broken wire.
