I think this is the terminal of theirs that had the big swift sign out front. It was bent tho, one of them had backed into the pole that the sign was on.(a real classic!):biggrin_2559:This was back in 04 when I used to run the N East a lot.

there is a sign out there, its probley 5ft tall X 6ft wide

last summer a swift got stuck in a corn field behind a 7-11 right across from there terimal:biggrin_25521:

he tried to turn around in this little road so he backed the trailer into this field and well it had rained the night before and the trailer sunk:biggrin_25526:

I looked at these pics again. Look at the one from the road. He went off the left side of the road, not the right side of the road. This was a 2 lane road. What the heck? How did he get over there where the fish ought to be?

Maybe his GPS had one of those glitches like mine does every now and then and says exit right now when going down a mountain or something and he thought well it ought to know the best route.:biggrin_2554:

yeah he went to the left...

the road is US Route 11 , its a traveled road its not a back road...and that little strech there is straight as you can see by some of the pics, yes right before that its kinda twisty but right there is straight...

i betcha he said "ill be damed":biggrin_2559:

but really he became a dam for that raging stream

That is also one of their new '07 Volvos that they have been bringing in .... probably barely broke 100,000 miles if it was lucky

yes he so skillfully avoided side swiping that building. Imagine the enviromental cleanup costs of all that diesel in what appears to be a fairly swift moving stream
