Yeah the 3-10pm thing worked out good cause if we got loaded by 9am central time then we could make it there if you kept with it. Then you would get empty and could check in at deere in waterloo and be the first one of the first ones loaded in the am.
SHC Thanks this. -
Box car is at Fort Bridger Wyoming waiting the storm out

At the T/A. Lucky you
aiwiron Thanks this. -
You know real flatbedders would just keep on trucking through the the storm. Are you and the England guys have fun telling stories at the restaraunt. HaHa
volvodriver01, milskired, aiwiron and 1 other person Thank this. -
If I had a step id get a load out of waterloo but I have a flat so either Des Moines or moline will be my loading point.

BAZINGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yeah, since I lived right near Portage it was tough to load at 7am (out by 10am maybe) and make it in time to hit the plant. That really sucked!!!!
-
Thats why I love Des Moines. 24 hours a day they take that sheet steel in! I usually get it off same day then pick up a preload there and will get everything ready on it to leave after my 10. Sometimes ill get that preload off that sameday too depending on how far of a run it is.
