Hi, i have a volvo vnl 670 ved12d 465 hp 13 spd, i do 300 miles round trips trough lot's of hills and my rears are 3.42 or something like that i was wondering what are the right steps to change rears to 3.70's and what follows after done, my wheels are 22.5, i'm grossing 80,000 all the time with a little off road, i just want a little more up the hills.

You have a 13 speed, probably could drive in 12th or 11th and accomplish the same thing at no cost.
Unless you are always on the wrong side of a split, I wouldn't change a thing unless the ratio was too high. -
I agree, just drop a gear or two. Swapping rears is not hard to do,2 men do it in a day, but I hate to change compontents unless they are broken, or wore out.

To be honest this is the first time that i own a truck with a 13 speed, need more tips and tricks.....it will be appreciated. thanks!

find the sweet spot in the power range of your motor. i wouldn't waste the money on a ratio change unless one goes or is going out. try different engine speed / gear choice until you find where it will pull best. hope this helps , johnny
