If you found your on ebay for $40 you over paid, unless the shipping was an extra $10 then ok. I got mine when they first came out at the Flying Pilot and paid $29.99 I love it, got the laminate pages and I still got some of my popular routes highlighted. Make sure you know how to read it, and teach others if they don't know because it's some drivers out here that don't know how to read a map at all (cough cough my co-driver) all he know is GPS and that's not good.
slim shady, g22mac and 25(2)+2 Thank this. -
I buy the non laminated one. but I buy a new one every year, that way I get the new rules in the front part.
Make sure you read those front pages. lots of info in there.Tonythetruckerdude and AZS Thank this. -
I picked one up at Loves last week, the 2013, laminated pages, $29.99 (with tax, $32 something), BUT with a $10 mail-in rebate.

Here's what i learn'ed on map's, yes the laminated are nice for spill coffee and stuff, but for me i wish they would make ruled side bar on the side, that way you can jog down note's , such as how much is toll for the state's and stuff, for me just a paper one work's for me, and what i do , is i go too that town , i have different color's high lighters, i mark the town's in pink, then the truck stop's in bright green , that way at a glance i can see the town and closest truck stop at a glance or i mark down all the toll's road's fee too, but these change too, so when i go back, i update as needed ,but the best map book i had and never seen anthor again was the gousha sold by the petro , it was laminated , but with a twist, all the weigh stations on the highways had a little scale along the road and all the truck stop's had a coffee cup symbol, it was neet road map book for 1991 .and do and learn the map book and only use the gps a guide only
mattbh23 Thanks this. -
The large print version drives me nuts. The maps are broken down and i need to flip back and forth too much. I have the laminated standard size and keep magnifying glass handy when needed.
Everett Thanks this.
