Your comments are valid just because of the situation you're in and being so "close to the game" so to speak even if you are company driver, Very few company drivers have a chance to learn about spot rates in such a manner. It'll give you a big leg up if you ever buy a truck. Anyone who is regular here, and even newbies if they take the time to sift thru your posts, knows what you do and that you've never claimed to be o/o...

    Thanks for the comments.

I've been posting online since 1991, beginning with bulletin board systems that were only accessible by connecting to them directly through the phone and 1200 baud modems. I've dealt with my share of troll posters, so while I may engage them as a time-wasting form of entertainment, I generally find it easy to dismiss their ranting.

As far as I know, it wasn't my employer. I haven't heard from him since Saturday, and I haven't delivered the load I'm under yet, so it's possible that he might call and give me the news after I send him the POD for this load. :)

He went through 4 drivers in 4 months before I came on board, so I don't think he's in a hurry to get rid of me to put someone else in the truck. And if he does find a driver that he likes, I'm fairly certain that he'll scrounge up another truck for him. He's resourceful like that.

I still have the company credit card and fuel card, and they still work just fine.

There are times when you see threads shutdown before you get to see them that you wish you had been alerted so you can see the BS before it goes away. I thinking, ####, if it got shutdown that quick I bet it was good entertainment.

We might butt heads on things from time to time but it happens. I've learned things from your posts so just keep doing what you do. Some people can't stand others to be happy.

While I'm fairly new here and I've not been online in a while, I kinda know who the regulars on here are. I have read some very good things on here that I felt IMO is or could be very helpful to us all. So my reply to windsmith is this, keep doing what you are doing and if any body has a problem with it then they can eat s### and bark at the moon. Keep on grinding those gears buddy.
