Ok I'm thinking of getting started in this lucrative trucking business but I want to make sure there isn't going to be any hang ups. My main concern is I've been convicted of a felony for possession of marijuana 30grams on April 12, 2012. I did jail time for seven months and have ten years probation. Will there be any problems receiving loads from brokers or any other entity being a owner operator. I,m receiving my CDL in a month or so and will have an experience CDL driver as a partner. Can someone please give me a little advice. Thank you and God bless!

A felony conviction, less than a year old? Not likely!

Yeah, you're not going to be trucking. Find a new "lucrative" business.

Trucking isn't as "lucrative" as you think. Do you know what the best way to wind up with a small fortune is in this industry?

Start out with a large fortune.:blackeye:

Brokers care more about your safety score, that is what they use to determine the correct shaft for you. Carriers look at your criminal history if you try to lease your truck.

With 10 years probation can you even leave your current state?

No joke but I don't see anyone asking a serious question.

"Can someone please give me a little advice."...

    Sure. Repost in 10 years.
