Fuel stealing

Well I don't think it would make it to a jury trial. This is Philly, only the most serious stuff ends up before a jury. I have a pretty good lawyer. I'm confident that even in the worst case scenario, I would be home eating my supper before the cops were even halfway done the paperwork.

 

It's about impossible to pass a truck stop nowadays and not have someone trying to sell something, usually dirt cheap. Yeah, someone is gonna buy it. Typically i would say it's a company driver selling off something that isn't theirs to begin with, such as fuel,tie downs,load bars, etc. so it's stealing and i personally don't want to be part of it no matter how good of a deal it is. I lost a load bar last week cause my driver was in a hurry and failed to lock it up and someone at a truck stop seen an opportunity to make a buck and stole it. I hate a freaking thief, probably the same guy whining on the CB that his company won't give him a raise.

I think its more that some people are always busy thinking how to skirt the law and make a buck... and I'm generally more about earning a buck.

I like fair and square, that way if I win, I know I did by being better and not by playing by different set of rules.

One really good thing about being a member of society, getting noticed will aptly bring praise versus the felonious type.

I hope you guys know everything I posted from here on was a joke of the trolling kind.

But pretty much everything I posted is being done, There are guys who will take a trucks fuel with or without the drivers knowledge.

And around areas like Philly and NYC you might get locked up for it and maybe not. But the courts are too busy here with serious crimes. Any half azzed lawyer could have you back on the streets in the wink of an eye.

 

Good deal, sounds like you're getting a handle on it. A dispatcher can make ya or break ya. What area are you in?
