really Disk brakes show many benefits w/o EBS, with simple acceleration valves, traditional for US trailers.

But with EBS (especially new) semi brakes better any four wheeler

I'm actually used to driving on the 'wrong side' cos most of my work was in continental Europe it's just driving from the middle of the truck is weird, #### these cabs are narrow lol

After talking with my sales guys, from Peterbilt Kenworth, and Western Star. and a couple of different trailer sales places it sounds like the cost would be somewhere between $800 and $1200 per axle to go to disc's over drums. So really its not going to be a huge expense.

Got to talk with several guys who are running disc here in western Canada. They all seemed extremely happy with them. So hopefully here in about 3 months I'll be able to give my initial opinions on what I think about them

Welcome to Canada. Hope things go well for you.

That actually sounds expensive I think! But then again they are standard in Europe so whatever is manufactured in higher volumes tend to be cheaper. Either way- for safety sake they are worth it!

Thank you, it's good to be here! I , very nice people here and most of them have a great sense of humor , I got my first adventure on a snowmobile (skidooing I think??) on Sunday and ribs n beer afterwards, I'm fitting right in lol
