At the TA in Santa Nella, CA. 3 stops and a pickup (headed for Vegas) and I'm done. As I suspected the delivery time on my Vegas load was Plus 1 CRAP, so instead of getting up at 11:00 tonight and driving all night I'll take a decent break, drive half the distance in the dark, and still deliver before noon.

I waited most of the day for a load to get me off home time, and finally got one.
Then, as I was turning around to go out the drive from the house, I got my front wheels stuck in some very soft ground.
Tried digging out, but no luck. I ended up having to call to tow truck.
There went $200 that I can't afford.

ahhhh..u know whwat?...dont leave so early from vegas,,,,i know you want to go home and see the little woman..and i get that..but really..that is a nice drive..u dont want to miss it...see the sites and enjoy....

well i did get a load offer from chino to denver co....see if you can get that one...it pu is anytime.....today...and delivery is feb 1 or feb 2...hope you get it....

 

at the J on I-81in VA..
deliver in the am then its off to philly to snag a 25k load and head over to monroe, mi. pickup and del are open ends, so i should get this delivered about 2hrs after the times they 1st sent to me in the load offer. if freight is slow out west guys, get out here to the east, i havent stopped yet.
when it slows down here ill put in for hometime, thatll get me back west and ill run freight there and just skip hometime.. /wink... tricks, gotta have um...
