Yeah it's the same place, wish I would've seen your post cause I was sitting in the check in line in the lot next to the blue building, and then they told me I was in the wrong spot haha

Always ask homie! Right check in place? Am I loading this correctly? Do I need any more securement? Can you help me?!? We all do it, only Jack holes won't assist, or at least tell you what to do if they cannot assist.

    camels76 Thanks this.

Dave don't feel bad, we sat at a nucor for an hr on the hot-mill side ( which is what the load assignment said) waiting for the proper pu#, only to be told our load was on the cold-mill side. :biggrin_25524:

worked for Melton for over 2 half years never sat in Laredo always in and out .As far as them telling you to roll when roads are so bad cops are telling you to stay out is BS . Had a good first 2 years with them ! then the last eight months the runs were getting shorter 400 or so mile runs my pay was going down ;( All the drivers i talk to said the same thing so i moved on . If i would of got 800 min to 2000 + mile runs like the first 2 years i would still b there

Can somebody please explain how to tarp a shotgun coil. I literally couldn't get the tarp on after 10 hours of trying every which way

its hard to explain without showing....best I can do is forget about making it look pretty. do whatever you have to do to keep the tarp from flying off as you go down the road...use all your bungees, all your straps, whatever you have to...and just get the load rollin :)

what really puzzles me is that no one helped you?

Yeah there were two different drivers who said they would help, but then left me there. I called every resource in the book, even sent pictures so they would know what I was working with. But it didnt help. I literally burned my 14 hour clock loading and securing and attempting to tarp. Gonna have to try again in the morning :(
