They sent me a Preplan that picks up at 4pm.
Got here with 1min left on 14.

Broker Load from Dum(b)as Ar to Loveland WMDC.

 

Delivered in Memphis this morning. Picked up in Memphis and I deliver in NW Arkansas in the morning. Very strong winds here, especially with only 5000 lbs in the box. No preplan yet. Supposed to be home on Friday. Its only a few hours away, so maybe I'll get to deadhead. Probably not, but its fun to think about.

 

I live South of KC, they deadheaded me Home from Southaven once.

I'm with you on that 15 deg here in Grand Island wind @ 50 mph cold as hell waiting as usual on JBS Swift. FM said to get here ASAP and drop Trailer, my window ain't till 6 pm tonight till 0400 in the morning, so i said to hell with it and bobed back down to the PIlot. Load is headed to Kroger in Delaware Ohio. great 2 places i did'nt want to go Grand Island & Ohio. this is'nt looking good for me

 

came threw iowa and it was snowing real bad.cars and trucks in the dich everywhere..i made up my mind then that its just not worth the risk.i am not driving to get somewhere on bad roads...sometimes we think we can do anything in any weather but i dont want to end up like some of these other drivers.and i know some of them have a lot of experience and just messed up one time and that is all it took...i dont want that to happen to me.so from now on i aint pushing it for any reason;;not worth it after what i seen

 

I agree i shut down early few days ago.
