Roehl Driver Check In

Preplan for launch tomorrow pick up in maple grove MN to Rensselaer IN. No mt's at yard tonight, maybe something will come but I doubt it. Fired up the truck and staying here tonight since its going down to 0. Autostart hasn't shut off since I got here about an hour ago. About 18 right now, but is warm in the truck.

 

The train that passes nearest 10 doesnt sound a horn. But the other fricken train does, so if you can go park on closer to the 10 side of the yard.

Though ill never sleep there, ill beg a family member to come get me before i sleep there.

 

Yeah, not really an option yet, as I don't have my car here. Not going to have my buddy drop me off on his way to work in the morning. He's already letting me stay at his house and use it for residency. Train isn't that bad though. Not at night anyway, it does seem worse in the day time. If I had my own car here, I would have just come and set up everything trip plan put away clothes etc... And gone back to the house for the night. But now with no mt I probably have to go get one somewhere so at least I can start early on that.

 

the nice thing of being flatbed is i always can find a empty flatbed in the saint paul drop yard. Vans seem to never be around when iam at the yard.

 

I am parked at the blueline travel plaza in worthington mn. Parked next to a Roehl Van, than shortly after words another Roehl Van pulled in on the other side of me.

 

Oh, there are plenty of vans here, just have loads in them.

 

Well push the pallets out the back and make it a empty.

 

Umm, well nice idea but the ones without seals have bales of scrap paper, not moving those. Oh yeah, also got call today saying good last quarter, but I could improve my score by getting twic, and hazmat. Just told fm, NOT going to happen. Not worth the extra hassle and money as far as I'm concerned. If I was getting a job where they primarily did hazmat yes, but not here.

 

Seville OH p-lot unload in the morning in brook park oh 30 miles north on 71. Then going to Cleveland to get loaded for Stevens point wi drop on the 1st. Checked the weather for Stevens point not to excited about it. 10k in the box WV today was a breeze even in the rain.

Just watched the movie end of watch. Ok... Not impressed. All it needed to say was a week in the life of a cop. And I would never of bought it. The ending pissed me off, really predictable.
