lol, when you are hammering up unions remember this, if you can see the writing on the wing it's righty tighty lefty loosey, otherwise you you hit it the other way. And guys will stand there and watch you smack on a union all day and then laugh at you cuz you were hitting it wrong. I will tell you this, as a frac hand driving truck will be about 5% of your job if that. Pretty much it will be drive out to the pad, get the equipment on the pad and then from there you might swap pumps out once in a while but you won't really be driving until the pad is done. And yes, none of the trucks in the PA oilfield, unless they are O/O are designed for these roads it seems. I know at Halliburton once we started getting the new Kenworth T600s with the cummins in them they were doing alright until management decided to turn the turbos down all the way and then do the same tune straight across the board on all the trucks. Now they are so bad that with 40k of cement it takes about 10 miles to get above 55 and any sort of hill you have to downshift. Last time I took one of them up Steam Valley Mtn (for those that don't know its 15 north starting at Trout Run) I was in 5th a lot of that trip.

Swinging a ten pound sledge hammer for 12-16 hours a day after you got four hours of sleep is a little bit different.

Sometimes sarcasm doesn't translate well on the internet. Haha. Just be very careful like the other guys were saying and if you see somebody else running away then take off.

Also be ready to be humiliated in front of your whole crew. We usually convince green hats to do some pretty goofy things. If it happens to you just laugh it off cause it happened to all of us.
