Yes i was thanking about it. I didn't like the fact you can't ttests drive the truck Bob tail or with trailer or under a load.
Also want brand your mechanic to look at the truck
Their is a warranty you pay for. But as with warrantys
They don't mean free or we'll pay for every thing.
There is a escrow account 07 smile for maintenance.
But if no money in the account. You'll have to pay covenant back first thing.
On top of a truck payments. They get their money first
So with so much being on the line.being not a walk away lease for 3years.
Just can't see signing a contract for something that i can't checkout.
If the truck break down you'll go broke trying to get it fixes.
I hope there no kids, home, car payments.
if you use a credit card you go in deep . Never get out.
    Sorry not for me.
I'll go to arrows truck sales first.

    123456 Thanks this.

Covenant is reporting all time high miles pre Truck highest revenue in the 26 years of covenant history.
    Wow.
then why am i have such a low revenue and lowest miles for the last 5 weeks.

Their have been 2 weeks the students made more money than i did.

Would you thank someone would notice.

This is why i believe trainer should get different than what we do.

    I get 30cpm.which a lot of sole driver get paid.@ 3000/2500.miles.

Now i do get paid for all miles that truck runs. That is if i get miles to run.

Now let me tell you how i have too run those miles.

The students drive, 1 sleeps while other drives.i sit in passager seat.
if students feel unsafe at speed limit.they slow down. Don't want to hurt anyone now do we.
so for 4 to6 hrs if lucky. Each student drive. For different reason. Sleepy, knee hurting hold the go pedal.to nervous. Or they are halfway too problems driving and i have them pull off.

At speeds from 45mph to 55 mph if lucky.so i say want miles

If in limited to students abilities to drive. Because i want drive I've been in the passager seat.
I going need sleep even if i could drive Ill be break the hos.rule. ft seat on duty right.

Lets say i drive after students. Depending on what they drive. 4/6 what ever. I could run the remainer of my 14he clock.which is 6 to 2hrs.
Which again i ask what miles.
If i cheat and don't go on duty while training in ft. Seat. And drive 11/10 hrs.
That would be a 19 to 23 hr drive time.

Now if covenant finds out that you are falsifying logs. They will fire you. There goes csa, day, any chance of getting hired anywhere.

But covenant thanks their is nothing wrong with this.its fair wages.

I ask myself what am i doing.training isn't easy, and i do my job to fullest.
i don't just sit back let what ever happen in not driving right. I train each and every step of the way.
With all the extra baggage. Cramp, attitudes, personal space a methodology.

I can say covenant believe the bonus
makes up for that. Lets look at that 600 a student only if they pass after being on the truck for 45 to 50 days of training.
Now lets divide that $600 bonus by 45 days.that's only 13.33 a day.

For all we do. And if they fail the test.they get 2nd chance. Ill in if 1/2 the bonus 300.
If they fail then i get nothing. So whats the benefits. Keep it.

If i go to sleep(yeah right) then i get paid for what i drive and what they drive. Like a team at 30cpm. That's 5000 sweet(maybe) miles pre week.but at 30cpm still that's only 1500 buck be fore taxes.ins,benefits,ssi,etc.
    For all i do.

I can tell you this covenant is going to raise its bar on paYing trainers.
Or its time t i move on.

I can make just as much driving solo for 10/11 hrs a day. Than stop for 10

I can make just as much being solo running 10/11 hrs away than having 10hrs for shower, better, meals, peace of mind, personal space. Even exercise.brittle.
For what covenant pay me with no miles. I'll be making same when solo.
All time high of tired of it.

I just quit covenant as a team driver our truck was only seeing 2500 a week i was lied to underpaid greater unfair. also and you know who i am we all know you read these daily. A lot of there trainers are a joke one in particular his name was Jason was the laziness most disgusting person you could meet he " trained" my co driver to go down the highway mo town driving no backing nothing then i was expected to retrain her for free. I'm now with schneider and I'm very happy with the move so far no lies, I'm getting the miles i need for a solid check i don't gave to share my truck and best of all they don't claim to be a Christian based company only yo bend you over and #### you

I know firsthand how frustrating teaming can be -- I don't think I'll ever do it again unless as a husband/wife team (otherwise I'd probably still be with Covenant)...

But 2500 miles teamed? Ouch! Were you just getting short runs, or were you sitting multiple days? Were you guys ever late on deliveries? Were both of you hazmat? I would have been on the phone with my fleet manager asking how we could better utilize the truck/team (I considered 4500 miles a slow week when I was teamed).

And you started orientation in September so you probably were just about due a decent pay raise (given 3 months afters getting off trainer's truck). The first 3-4 months OTR were pretty lean for me, but months 4-6 were where I started grossing $1000+/week...

Anyway, that's too bad it didn't work out for you, but I hope you've found your home at Schneider.
