Has anyone gone to the school in St. Louis?? Can anyone tell me a little about it? After school what happens then? I guess I am just confused on why they wouldn't just send to the school in Dallas, that way they don't have to keep paying for bus tickets.

Will a passport substitute for a birth certificate? I don't have the original and really didn't want to pay to get another one. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Pasco, Washington, after dropping a load with 2 drops in Seattle. Pickup tomorrow here at Americold for a load to Illinois, in Bellvedere. Beautiful weather here in the Pacific Northwest, cool, snow, gray....beautiful.

What do they pay for training? Do they have company drivers or just lease? CPM?? Curious. Thanks.

While out with a trainer you are paid a flat rate of $350 per week, when you hit the grad fleet stage (solo) you are paid $.26 per mile, at 6mos. That increases to $.28, at 9mos. $.29 and at 1 year.$.30 per mile.

Yes there are company drivers. I am one.

Well I had 2 things left before getting a load and off the yard. Central clearance and a sign off by Archie. I get to the clearance window with my permit book and am told "you have VDPD on here. I can't do your book until after you get that done." Whiskey Tangle Foxtrot. This class is held M W F at 8:30. It is 9:30 when I find out they have added this. So unless Mr. Wheeler agrees to defer this until the next time on the yard, I'm stuck here till Monday. Me and a bunch of other Alliance conversions. This means three more days they have to pay us $75 per day so we can sit in a class for 4 hours. Plus I'm bleeding money to eat etc. Half of me wants him to say no so I can watch the game on Sunday. But I need to make some money.

I'd take the $ just so I could watch the game. Plus, if you go out now, Monday would be your free payment. If you go out after class on Monday, you'd have 2 full weeks of miles before your first payment is due.
