I am thankful to those of you who have respond to my posting. I know I am not alone in the neglect and miss treatment of truckers from their employers.

Truly sorry for your lose. This is unfortunatly not unheard of. I do wish companies would do a better job when it comes to these types of situations. I would like to think that if dispatch didn't call him back that he would just have made the decision to just go to the hospital. His health is more important than the load. Now I don't know who he was dealing with but the point he was making was not clear enough to who ever he spoke with. Please understand that I am not taking sides on this or pointing fault. I am just saying what he should have done and also dispatch could have told him go to the hospital and just let us know where the truck is so we can send someone to get it and let us know what the doctors say.

Again I am sorry for your lose and hope that Knight will do right by him and help you anyway they can.

just a driver here...........

I understand what your saying but he was two hundred feetv from their entrance. Policy stays not to leave your truck. Shoukd you need medication they will get it to you within a half hour should you need medical attention dispatch will dispatch an ambulance to your location. Which was outside their door. My husband wasn't ignored like some ppl label them. He wasn't hilly billy heck he was a responsible driver he wss s trainer for them for over a year. That's what I quess why couldn't someone have just gone outside? And I am assuming he couldn't have gone any were once he arrives and start feeling ill. He was following their policy in which they fell to render aide to my husband was has having a heart attack. How much clear can one be. I am here I don't feel good I need to go to the hospital!!! I am sorry I am so angry thank you foe allowing me to vent.

After my dad had a stroke I thought it was the end. Didn't even get near a computer, much less a chat room at that.
