So iam getting a loaner truck tonight that has a 13 speed. Its one of the old beam haulers

 

I never got the pleasure of driving one of those. Lantern did though

 

They are putting a new motor in my truck than giving it back to me

 

Sounds like the governor on the injector pump(s) broke and kept the fuel rate high. Once that happens the only way to shut down the motor is to cover up the air intake with a piece of cardboard. By the time that can be done the motor is usually toast.

It's where I feel in love with the 13spd.

First time I run my truck to half of a quarter of a tank I get a load that's 200 pounds overweight. I can't stretch my fuel that far... Also everytime I have to get fuel it's a 1$ charge for using the card. Pretty upset, this was my load getting me home and now I might have to sit over the weekend

 

Petro Albert Lea Mn x11 I-35. Snowing, temp at least in lows teens after single digits and below zero wind chill. AR will be 40's drty was right. Driver side washer been froze, going on day 3 so would be nice to wash a clear view. Stopped by mothership for alot of things b4 shipper so set to go.

After a quick shower at the TA in Redding, stopped for the night in Mt Shasta's southern shadow (not possible) at the small Pollard Flat t/s at I-5 xt 712 . Darn good home cookin' and a mannequin in the bathtub of the restroom that will surprise your heart into skipping a beat or two.

I-57 xt 95 T/A IL. Was supposed to stop and fuel at xt 160 but with the construction and they made a temp exit, i missed the exit, there was also an rv going 40 mph that I was trying to go around. So said screw it and go another 65 miles and do a macro16. Still have over half a tank anyway.
