I don't think they do teams. Give them a call ask for Dustin, he will answer any questions you have.

I just finished week 1 of 8 at Raider Express. I will tell you my observations. I think that compared to the starter companies, Raider is not a starter company and if you've never worked for them, don't reply with negative comments based upon your opinion. Too much of this crap going on.
No company is perfect, if it was, people wouldn't job hop, looking for the next great job in trucking. Raider Express is a strict trucking company and from what I have seen, a very good company. The fact that a new driver starting out with zero experience other than the 4 weeks of school and 4 weeks of road training, will get a base of .30 cents per mile and can be at about .38 cents per mile after just one year, is alot better than any of the others who are starter companies.
The company wants you to do well, they have a financial incentive for this desire, lets not kid ourselves. They are in this to make money and if you think otherwise, you should reevaluate things. Of the seven that were in my class on day 1, three remain. Four left for various reasons, probably because they realized this was not for them.
Too many people go through life looking for the perfect job, the perfect mate, the perfect little life and they jump at opportunities that are mostly BS. I can say with certainty that Raider Express is without doubt, above board and so far, they have done everything they said they were going to do, have been nothing less than honest, haven't blown smoke up anyone hoo-ha and they preach professionalism and live what they preach.Chinatown Thanks this. -
So let me go into what week one was all about. On Monday, we arrived at 0700 and met our instructors and were given binders with blank log sheets, heard some introductions from the instructors, essentially their story. It was very eye opening. It was at that point you realized that this is serious business for this company and these guys and you knew what you were dealing with. I for one, very much appreciated their candor.
Second to third day was studying for the CDL permit tests. Since I came in with a CDL Class B, I was very lucky because I had already taken the majority of the written tests. They have every student reading, reading and reading some more. Recruiting came in and Dustin Roddy who heads the department was very upfront about alot of things. He did not blow smoke up anyone's hoo-ha.
He stated, no riders on truck for the first year, no exceptions. No pets because the company has a huge portion of their fleet as new or close to new tractors that they do not want the interiors to get ruined. It made sense to me. He talked about pay why in school. This is something none of the starter companies do and will never do. Week 1, you take one for your home team and you receive no pay. Second week is $250.00 or $50.00 a day, week three they give you a $20.00 per day raise, so you get paid $350.00 or $70.00 a day. Week 4, you go from $70 to $90.00 per day or $450.00. The work week is monday to friday. So that is $1000.00 for the month, tax free, no deductions.
After you do your road test in the fourth week and pass the road test, you then come back in for orientation and if you make it through that, you are then matched up with a road trainer for 4 weeks at .10 cents per mile, which is not alot but it is based upon all the miles the truck does for 28 days. This is what I know for now.
Week 2 is when you really get into mapping and routing, and drive more and more. I will keep everyone advised.Chinatown Thanks this. -
