I was a new driver, driving a Peterbilt and pulling tankers with milk in them. On this particular day I was empty and headed towards the terminal to get a load. I was going about 60 on a 2 lane highway and had the cruise on....had some traffic ahead so I stepped on the brake.....no brake......stepped on the brake again...no brake and the cruise had not shut off.....I reached over and flipped the cruise off and hit the brake......yes....brake is working!!! What the hell?

Now why the hell would the brakes not work with the cruise on???? Cause the prior driver had accidentally kicked out a few of the fuses in the firewall just by where you put your left foot!!!


Well, the prior driver said the fuse box cover was loose so he put it in the back of the truck somewhere, and proceeds to stretch out with his feet and doesn't know he is kicking out the fuses!!!!

I dread sitting at the counter of any Truckstop restaurant and hearing all the BS stories that get told. Most consisting of how they told some officer at a scale to F themselves and were allowed to leave

 

Hmmm,so do not sit there.

 

Got my truck searched buy the nsa security gaurds and was given an escort buy black suvs to the main road fort.mead.can be a little confusing we were just picking up scrap cardboard and got lost comeing out of the place .

 

You can always tell the ex-SpecOps guys...they either weigh 400+ or 100-, and get out of breath just cranking down the dollies.

You know who the millionaires are, too. You can tell by their stained wifebeater, cutoff sweat shorts and the green fog that follows them around. It's because they have so much money they don't have to care.

And of course the Federal Marshals are just waiting by the phone to be summoned by every truck driver with a complaint. Some reciever gives you any crap, you just give 'em a call and they'll be there in five minutes, arrest everybody at the entire company--including the CEO--and then nuke the site from orbit just to be sure.

 

this is so true it's almost sad.

Remember those jeeps the post office use to use? I saw a right hand drive one that was being driver by a cute blonde summer temp employee doing cart wheels down the highway. She looked down and wen she looked up she panicked and lost control.
