IMHO, I think he is deliberatly devaluing the company so that he can force the old man out at a cheap price, own the whole company and rebuild it from there.

Ive had a couple of those, albeit a while ago. things are not good anywhere from what Ive seen lately, I can't get a job right now unless its a sit around otr one with a min. wage paycheck after being out for a couple weeks.. Its not looking good.

Well this is the slow time of year for MOST companies, I'm not surprised Crete lost some customers, I'm not sure why they lost them...they used to haul a lot of kelloggs, P&G, Fortune 500 companies

About all I've pulled this week is Kellogg's. -
Yep, your right about that Bumper, I worked there around 2000 to 2003 and It was his ship then and it was already sinking slowly at first, just the way a lot of ol timers talked back then about it, made me think how it could have turned out if Duane had a son instead of a Daughter with an sob for husband? I liked the old lawyer turned trucker met him during orientation, nicest guy. I made a good load of cash with them, hated the optimized idle with a passion. I couldn't sleep through that even after my 3rd anniversary. So its probably somewhat true, still freight is bad right now it seems, everywhere so good luck to everyone.traveler2361 Thanks this.

What part of SC are you from 48Packard? I used to pull out of the Spartanburg terminal...I think that is gone now.

I did 12400+ miles in January, I hope the miles stay so terrible. I did stay out from the 2nd to the 1st though, so that did inflate it. My vacation check from xmas hit the 1st week of January too, so the total part for the month was probably my best since I've been here (almost $6000). I know it can't keep up, but I'm still happy.
-
Thats a shame i'd personally be looking to see who got there freight and go work for them hopefully they'll be better then Crete
