Drug abuse accounts for 80% of the crime in the US according to law enforcement statistics. Drug users need a lot of money to feed their habit(s). They will engage in any opportunity they can find to get the money for their habit. But the drug testing procedures required by the feds does a really good job of keeping them from getting behind hte wheel of a truck, or trains, or buses, or planes. Random drug testing and for cause drug testing really works.
So there are a lot of folks that want to know if they can get a truck driving job and not get caught.....but they will get caught! -
whether it be legal or illegal drugs,
it the op or anyone else doesn't like it, i could care less
i don't have any doubts that whether pilots or truckers, when aware of any meds or even medical scenarios that may affect their license, most would prefer to get and pursue info and legal remedies, when it is available, as an option
