I jack the truck up and put a bar in the hole and try to move the wheels with no play..thats the way I was told to see if I had play in the bearing and king pins.. I had the king pins put in back in 2007 so they may still be the problem I guess..the back is hend. rubber block susp...yes to the oil bath hubs...never changed the front drums... I just replaced the spring hangers on the front year before last....I am going to try and get some video some how of the bounce and post it.. I really need to find this problem...and thanks to all you guys for all the help so if you do have anything you think my help just say it I will try it...

yea the marks are from the tire being changed and mounted long time ago not new marks at all....
-
One thing when tires was mounted did they inflate them in a tire cage ? I had a set that didnt seat rite deflated greased rim at bead then layed them down reinflated did help with front end bouncing just a dumb thought some times thats a lot of tire to get to seat rite .
-
no cage mount just a simple lay the rim down and install ...put the rim back on the truck and air up to 120psi..

Consider a steel wheel instead. If you need to save weight, buy some aluminum wheels for the rear.
-
I have steel wheels that I plan to put on now ...now I will have to fined the bounce....

Does your buddy's truck have same tire/wheel? I assume he doesnt have the hop problem. Can you switch a tire off his truck for a day or two and try to eliminate or narrow down possible problem?
Have that same super single wheel on a log trailer. Never had a wheel break. The tires dont last but it amazes me the wheels take the weight and abuse. -
his truck has the 385/65/22.5 instead of the 425/65/22.5.....
-
you could still try it just differance in tire height
