I was told over a year ago that turning the trucks badk to 57-58 was being considered.
Joker, why are you still there? May USED to be a great company to work for, but clearly their interests/goals have shifted, and they are looking to just be another BFIPaloma Thanks this. -
Someone tells me a good company to work for I will. I wanna run coast to coast and and be able to have an inverter.

LOL and don't forget the new rpm shifting guidelines....... Yes you will drive correctly and shift correctly at the right rpm or you can hit the road they don't care what type of driver or trainer you are..... Look in the mirror your just a piece of equipment and May owns ya and if as an employee you refuse to do as mandated yes you will be out the door....... MAY has people sitting at home that just completed training waiting for a truck to be assigned so none of us drivers are safe at any time..... Really is better pay and benefits at other carriers Interstate and Crete and Kb Transport to name the top three I am aware of........

May is looking so save fuel, but limiting to 55 is NOT the answer. I know more about fuel than any moron in any office at May, that includes my friend Kermit.
I own and drive a 2008 Long Nose Peterbilt .. i average 7.5 mpg ... Driving at 63-65. When I drive 55, my fuel milage drops..why? The engine is working too hard to pull the loads.
I run the same set up at May trucks, cummins ISX with a 13 speed. -
