Well today I was pulled over for a level 2 roadside inspection. All in all I passed. No violations found. Anyway, have you ever wondered what those color coded stickers mean? You know, the ones they put on your windshield after the inspection? Well, the California Highway Patrol has an acronym to help them remember the inspection date and time.

    Grow-green-first quarter.
    Your-yellow-second quarter.
    Own-orange-third quarter
    Weed-white-south quarter.

The corner they cut off means first month. Two corners mean second month and so on.

Last code on the sticker is the actual number which represents the inspection level.

Thanks to my good friend who gave me a passing inspection at the California Highway Patrol.

    NavigatorWife and Jimmbuds Thank this.

if they dont have a sticker to hand out if you pass a level 1, then they should not be allowed to give a level 1.

I got a few stickers before. A big red one that says, "out of service." I found out those are easier to get then an "Attaboy" sticker. As a matter of fact, I've never got an attaboy sticker. I've found out those big red stickers peel off almost as easy as they go on as long as it's not on the glass very long. Nobody shuts the world famous rodknocker down. Especially these hickey doo diesel bears living off my tax dollars.

I get the attaboy stickers every couple years. Not that hard to do.

The attaboys aren't hard to get ! You just have to do your job and not be a jerk when you get pulled. I once watch a person that a level one with 500 miles on their truck ! attitude it's a Bi*** !
