Youre right I did dig up this post because I was searching for some decent information about ltl companies. But I can't find any thread about ltl that doesn't end up being hijacked by somebody arguing about unions. Pro or anti-union they always end up taking over these threads and ruin it for the guys trying to get some decent information.

 

What's top wage at UPSF?

 

pros: home every night
only work 4 days a week
off weekends monday's and holiday's
pay's egh but good benefits

con's: not enough pay for the type of work i do
long days usually 12-17 hrs a day
crappy equiptment (my trucks been in the shop 11 times)
your asked to drive in bad weather and bad road conditions (bosses don't care as long as they hit there numbers and get their bonuses)
same pay rate for the whole year (they drag their feet when it comes to getting a raise)

 

think .60c a mile right now. supposed to be going up to like 63c or something.

 

64.7 cpm..

What's it like being a newbie at upsf. I just heard back from them and they told me we will schedule an interview. Will I have work everyday?
