Are they running a day cab? I wouldn't touch it unless it was by the hour.

Yep, what Klatu said. I have a bad feeling that this is one of those 1600-1700 miles a week jobs. Their big offering is to have you home every weekend for a reset.

what would seem to be wrong with that picture is they cant possibly be competition for heartland, also in carlisle, that pays (50cpm?) in the northeast.

1800 miles is not very many for a week, if you getting paid by the mile and only getting 350 mile runs, chances are your sitting alot to get loaded and unloaded, not getting paid!

Sounds like Schneider is lookin' for a young and dumb rookie who thinks $918 (1800 miles x $0.51/mile, probably not gonna happen in real life) per week BEFORE taxes and deductions is worth all the sitting around and dealing with areas like Pittsburgh, Harrisburgh, Philly, Reading, and Punxatawny is worth it. Trust me, its not. Not even at $1/mile and home every night!

Whoever falls for this run will get all the live load/unloads that the fleet drivers don't want. Expect to hit areas like New York and Hoboken, NJ on a regular basis due to all the other rookies who are scared of the big city and drop thier loads in the Carlisle yard. Oh yeah, and Philly and Pittsburgh (the single worst city in the country for big rigs in my opinion).

Is it pulling a box or draying containers out of the yard near Carlisle?
