Lmao now that is funny! You didn't read my commet, it seems? I was not saying "mays better, mays better". I Have enough experience in this industry to tell you that "interstate" is no better then may! Their a mid sized truck load carrier. What your going to find out after a while is that "interstate" will have their own set of problems if not some of the exact problems you find with may.

I was indirectly trying to suggest the change to interstate is nothing to write home about. If your going to leave and you want to be home more often, their are atleast 100 better opitions then interstate or may, for you...

Btw I'm not on a different boat then anyone. This comment smells of ignorance. I'm a loop driver it is not special their are "many" drivers doing the same thing. Qualifications to get on???? ASK........!!!!!!!! Really that simple! I deal with the same problems that every driver encounters , I choice to handle and see them differently is all! Somehow that makes me a bad guy??

thank you brother! I believe tats should tell the story of your life or what you find important in life! My may tat is part of my story that is all! Yeah I'm 34 btw well almost!. Why I got that tat is actually a great story maybe sometime ill share it! Where did you move on too?? See I find it funny that even tho drivers leave they come back to chat. what's special about "may" is not may at all , it is the people you have come to respect and care for. To me may is a company out to build a assest and create jobs, and I think their good at it! However I love my family here we just happen to work for may!

Trucker Steve .. interstate is the complete opposite of May. I have been with them for 3 months. Interstate was bought out by Saltchuck. They changed everything. Company drivers are allowed to idle all night now for heat or A/C.

The pay is much better, better health plan and constant freight. Also, they run loose leaf paper logs.

No, Interstate is nothing like May

Also, the way yer treated is complete oposite. Interstate responds to messages almost instantly. The dispatchers are in the same room as operations ( planners). You can walk in there anytime and talk to them.

Operations run 24/7 out of 3 terminals.

At Interstate dispatch and office Thank you for driving cause they admit, with out us they woulnt have a job.

May is a joke, they went down hill in 2012.

May has NOT created new jobs. They still have the same amount of trucks today as they had in 2008. They get 10k Obama stimules money for every new "hire" that stays employed with them for 90 days .. Hence the 90/90 program.

the only way to get on to a "loop" or the other few good runs at May is to be a pet.

I am owner op .. And will show you my settlements .. I make twice at Interstate than for May ...

    May has become a joke.

May is ok for Entry level, Get yer year in and get the hell out.

It pisses me off when mouths talk about other companies they dont work for... If you dont work for the new Interstate, dont put yer worthless opinion on here about them.

Joker one of my former students at May tried to get on the Phoenix "loop", they told him the same thing. He quit and got a local job hauling sand and gravel.

Trucker Steve is a nice enough guy, however, he's a bit too simplistic when reducing a matter like getting on the loop at May to "just ask". I mean you can ask, most of the time on a situation like that they say no.

I talked to Danielle Friday afternoon, after realizing that; although they sent my 2011 W2 to my correct address, they never actually changed my address in the system. She told me no need to wait for it to be returned, she would print a new one, and drop it in the mail Today (Monday)
Of course, if you ask Plat, it's because I know people at May lol

I wasn't trying to attack trucker steve, i dont know you personally, just saying this 'loop' isnt the norm, as you can see from others posts not something anyone can get into especially people here asking about considering them for employment, so no, i dont think someone on a loop has the same issues and concerns that someone running random 48 has... pretty simple
