    For me, and I repeat, for me, Schneiders been working out pretty good for me. 6 days out, 3 home. This is supplemental income for me. I'm outta French Camp and I really like the DBLS. I drive them nuts, I drive hard, so they put up with me and give me respect. For a large carrier, SNI is working out for for me.

    The whole talk about these sensors is making me rethink SNI. I could understand if they were set for 40-70, but when it is set for well below freezing, and I read about all the problems people are having I just don't want the headache. Are you all saying the bunk heaters are garbage and don't keep the inside of the cab warm as well?

    In the truck I drove, the bunk heater would only last about 4 hours. It depends on the state of your cabin batteries. My truck didn't have a cooling system. I live in Texas. No climate control, no drive.

    Here lies another problem. They don't want to replace batteries either. In my time at SNI, they did everything possible to not replace the batteries. Luckily, My DBL credited idle time when heater wouldn't work and I was on dedicated account with our own shop. Every 6 days I went home I turned in that truck. Finally got my batteries. Can only swap parts on bunk heater so many times. Of course, these were the days before the sensor.

    They did for me as well for over four years. Eventually, however, the negatives outweighed the positives for me. Being east coast domiciled didn't help, what with the constant NE running. Far too much time wasted up there on too many Friday afternoons trying to cross the GWB. If it was a holiday weekend, I knew where I would be...the GWB. Sooner or later, you just get fed up.

    I am scheduled for orientation in 2 wks in Carlisle and this sensor thing has me concerned I hope it keeps me warm, I called and talked to a man at that terminal he said it does not shut the truck off waiting in traffic what is the real deal with that ?

    I also have a cpap machine that will need to run as well, will there be a problem with the batteries?

    Sitting in traffic you have climate control. It's when you park to take your break. Your truck will not idle.

    It's the issue of heat while I'm sleeping and running my cpap machine at the same time.
