OK. The school I want to go to said I should get the dot physical before I go with a company sponsored training that way it would be easier and they would have it to refer to if needed. So I guess that is the place to start then see what companies offer me anything.

Any one else had a school request that you get your dot physical before going to the school?

Maybe this is just me, but I think the easy part for you is your doctors visits and the meds, and others have told you how to address this issue. You stated in your first post that you were put on disability. Am I to assume that you have not been working? If so, the big trucking companies have very inquiring minds about gaps in your employment. Maybe someone else on this forum might have some good advice for you on this subject like they did on the meds. Good luck to you.

I have wondered about that but I wasn't completely idle the whole time I have maintained farm work and stuff. I dunno if they consider that but it is still work. Maintaining live stock isn't an easy task.

I f you are on or have been on disability, working with Vocational Rehabilitation may be what you need to do.

And also as a disabled person you are still aloud to work mostly light duty type stuff but it should still count as work.but you just cant make a certain amount of money or work full time hours.
