Drug testing

I wish I still had a text someone sent me a long time ago, I'll try to get the idea out there...If I am required to take drug tests, dont you think that anyone who gets money from the government to sit on there butt and watch Jerry Springer, ( and can't wait for the day they're on that stage...that's something to look forward to ) drink beer and smoke pot all day should have to take random surprise drug tests also?

you say you never did drugs or alcohol, but you had one bad test. what happened when you tested positive for what ever it was you were taking? might be reading post wrong but still..

 

The only problem I see is too many "Perfect Super Truckers" on these forums.

 

funny when I drove dumper for a very short stint, there was another driver "singing" on the CB about smoking dope, smoking dope, driving truck and smoking dope. I thought he must be kidding, got out at the next stop..........nope he was baked. I jumped ahead of him in the rotation just to get in and out of the pit before he got there. he never had a problem that day, but I didn't want to be near him just in case.

 

Since a lot of new drivers don't read the FMCSR or are not taught the rules with testing I'd like to see more ask questions. I don't mind all the question because once in awhile a driver will ask what to do and some have shown them the direction. Especially with leaving the testing area or the procedure itself.
