Dibster is absolutly right...and so is Red Foreman. This was totally your fault. I bet when you drove into that customers yard you knew right away it was slick because of the way ur truck slid a little bit. You noticed it. Dont lie. I have been known to throw on chains just to manuever and dock this big Bcht at customer locations. I wont play around and risk to slide into another truck or damage mine no sir. Take it and move on guy.

His first words were I was turning and I heard a Crunch.

Now you have to go into blame mode to try to keep the incident off your record.

    It must of skidded.

Guess what everybody knows when you lose traction. You don't say as far as I can tell.

You say As I was turning I lost traction and then I heard a crunch. Put yourself in the safety director shoes. I'm sure he hear those stories all the time.

You also never try to make sharp turns in slippery conditions. So even if there was some (ice) under the snow and it went into a skid at the mph that he quoted he could of pulled out easily, and also the way he said he messed the cab extender up seems like he was going a little faster then stated as well.

Also if it was icy or slick he would of had a hard time coming back out of the jack knife. Come on folks use your head. As stated he finished his turn and checked the damage after. Nothing about spinning on the ground or nothing. Also we have all been on icy pavement and once you get on it. You use caution in everything else you do. Not as he said. Well I never had a problem doing the 180's before with trainer.

To me it sounds like you just turned to tight and if I was safety that is probably the stance I would take. Chalk it up.

I used to work at the inspetion bays at JB's Louisville terminal. I can tell you stories :biggrin_2559:

There was a driver that got a brand new truck. He was so happy.

A week later he drives in with a driver cab extender that was beat to hell :biggrin_25526:. I said "What happened driver?" He said he didn't want to talk about it :biggrin_2559:

The following week the passenger side extender was beat to hell. I said "what did you do there driver?" He grumbled something about me minding my own business :biggrin_25510:
