Are there any newbie Schneider drivers who would be willing to share how much they have been bringing home on a weekly basis?

Schneider has quite a few different options so the pay will vary quite a bit. Dry, reefer, tanker, OTR, regional, dedicated, could all play a part in pay.

I been doing regional a couple months, out 11 days home 3. My checks are normally right around $600 a week, give or take $50 or so. With the perdiem thing not much is taken out for taxes. I was making $22 an hr with 40 hr weeks at my last job, and my take home is closer than I thought it would be to what I was making. Puttin in a few more hours a week tho.

    WITrucker87 and JetAgeHobo Thank this.

How does that 11 out 3 home deal work? Recruiter say's that will most likely be my schedule if/when I get started. Unless I'm missing something, you're driving 7. then reset, drive the remainder of the 11, then home 3? Reset is how long in this case, I thought it was basically 2 work days depending.

    Thanks

I work in a flex position (which means I'm home everyday, I'm slip seat, and on the days I'm available to work I only work if a load is available for me which I LOVE after working so many years over the road on somebody else's schedule) in the reefer division and if I pull 2 loads a week (each load usually averages 7-10 hours of time) I make between $265 and $315. Depends on how many stops are in the load. No benefits though because this is a less than part time position. I LOVE MY JOB!

Or you can run recap and continue or if you log 8.75 hrs on duty a day then you can run all of the 11 days.

    JetAgeHobo Thanks this.

I havent had to take a reset out on the road yet. But by my last couple days out I end up against my 70. Being on duty for the 8.75 hrs a day will never run you out of hrs, but sometimes you gotta work past that. On the 9th day you get back the hrs on your first day towards your 70. so thats how you get through the end of your 11 days.

Ok, thanks. I suspect they'll explain it more detail in orientation. Seems to make for short days though. How many miles are you averaging during the 11 days out?
