So supposedly the guy that we are leased to has told us that he attempted to transfer money to us for fuel but we have not seen it yet. We are loaded and we have been sitting in ND for almost 2 days. Who knows if we will get any fuel funding tomorrow. Any Ideas or suggestions
What to do when fuelcard runs dry!!

How would anyone out here not involved in your situation possibly know when you can expect funding?? You better get back with your money man. He can get you fuel money in a matter of minutes if he has any. Never leave home depending on someone else to get you home. Good luck.
aiwiron, Leftlane101 and Hanadarko Thank this. -
Time to look for a new job, like yesterday
Logan76, aiwiron and Leftlane101 Thank this. -
What kind of operation are you working for? That's abysmal. Don't even think about spending your own money on fuel if the owner can't supply his own. ThaT means no reimbursement.
aiwiron, Leftlane101 and Crazy Alex Thank this. -
if that is a broker load call them.they might give you a comdata check for fuel and deduct it from owners settlement

don't even think about using your money!
aiwiron Thanks this. -
Start applying somewhere else. My cristal ball says it will get worse when you break down.
aiwiron and Leftlane101 Thank this. -
I can think of 5 different ways to get you money. There is no attempting, only lying!
0-1 years experience, suckered into a bad advertisement.
You should have a company fuel card with a set spending limit. He must have bad credit and operates in the sheister mode.
Get out before losses pile up.Leftlane101, drvrtech77, Crazy Alex and 1 other person Thank this. -
First sign of a business either going under or over extended is the lack of $$$ for fuel.
If it's going under then, the bounced paycheck will be next clue!
I have personally had fuel money issues more than once that was caused by that dreaded 30 day invoicing crap with a lot of expenses hitting all at once!
Find out if it's one or the other fast! -
Yes, I would seriously advice to leave, ASAP.
If they declare bankruptcy, you will NOT get paid, and you will have to go to bankruptcy court and hope you get anything. I know this from personal experience. Thankfully I'm not in it for too much, just as a company driver being owed a couple of paychecks, but do NOT pay for the fuel.
BTW, can you private message me this guy's name you are leased onto, I want to see if it's the same people I worked for a year ago.
