Yeah I havnt figured out what to do about the microwave. I'd like to get one so I can save money by doing canned food.
What do you guys suggest I do about that? -
If you have the money, I'd do the microwave and inverter. If you don't have it right away, get a bunch of microwavable containers and use the truck stops microwave until you can afford to get the microwave and inverter.

Would you recommend installing an inverter in a company truck? Are they easy to remove if you are forced to swap tractors?
-
I would have it done professionally, and then ask to watch them install it so you know how to uninstall and reinstall if you do have to do a swp

So, I had a load to keep me running from Wednesday to Friday. I get to NE just to find out it was yanked out from under me and I had a similar run going to Minooka the next day. 3 days to run 573 miles was ridiculous. I ran it in one day, got them to let me drop it in Romeoville and waited for new loads to come in. Get most of the way there and my loads start coming in... I SPLIT WITH MYSELF?!?! 620 miles by Thursday, back track on Friday to Minooka, and drop on Saturday. Luckily I was told to send a 54 for any 24 hrs I spent waiting around. Should I explain owner ops don't rate layover pay or just wait for payroll to take it away?! THEN TTR went down and I had to do all my ####in to my g/f which never goes over well. Lol. Well, south to TX I go. Stopping by my house for some breakfast and free laundry. Anybody up in the blizzard?!
