Yea he came to our class and asked if anyone wanted flat bed and a couple were interested including myself. He stated they needed people, but the current mentor wait is 2-3 weeks. No one wants to sit around for that long waiting with no pay.

I remember some time back when I was there he came out and started to talk to some of us out of there, what he was doing as far as FB, would go through the class and then hook up with a Mentor hauling van, or just take your name, get a mentor, haul van and then when test out, take the class and get right into another truck. I remember that when I was there, he was saying that he had lots of trucks ready to go.

At the end of orientation, they asked for people interested in flatbedding to come to the front of the room. A guy I rode out there from NC with stood up, and I wasn't going to let myself be outdone by an old man so easily. Ran out of the small terminal in Eden, North Carolina (now defunct, from my understanding) since I had relatives in NC and would rather spend my home time there than in my own hometown in Mississippi. I don't regret it.
