If you're coming out east of OH, I highly doubt anything will be open from there to NYC on a weekend. Hammer on it
-
As stated 300 is with in the difference you would get from scale to sale anyway.
Good calibrated scales.
When you say loaded at a mill , if it is a produce mill and loaded in a hopper all you have to do is hit your brakes hard and you will probably shift that much weigh forward. -
don't some states give a 400lb exemption for an APU? if so, 300 shouldn't matter. just tell 'em you're hauling it to have it installed
-
Sure.
If that 300 # is on the drives, not on the trailer. -
Well, I made it! Put on 125 gal in S. Beloit IL which put me over gross and over on the drives. Calculated I'd be under gross by the time I reached the next scale in PA. But I'd still be heavy on the trailer.
That scale was open and I got the bypass lane! They were axle checking another truck at the same time. Timing!
Having a low fuel light really came in handy this time. I know I've got at least 40 usable gallons when that thing lights up and that's where I ran it most of the way across. Much more fuel and I'd be over gross. Next time I'll tell them to take a lift off. -
No tolerance. I don't do fat chicks, period!SHC Thanks this. -
3% in NY. 4% in PA I think.
