After taking pictures of all the linkage I looked back under the dash and found this. It looks like a magnedic switch. Activated when a pieces of metal is placed beside it. If you look at where the arrows are pointing you can see some buildup of what im guessing is metal dust attaching it self to where the magnetic switch is. I am unable to view the backside of this switch because the steering column is in the way.

You can idle the engine until the shut down alarm is activated then watch as you push on the clutch pedal.
You must be 100% sure otherwise you can cause damage to electrical components.
You will need to be able to disconnect the connector to perform a simple test and to connect the relay. -
-
In the mean time do you have any recommendations on where i should buy the relay at?
-
It will also require a little bit of wiring to make it work but I can help you with that.
If you need to you can pm me.TheSquatch Thanks this. -
This one will work for you, Omron H3CR-F8DC12 It can be set to cycle On for 1.2 seconds and OFF for 4 minutes. It will continute this cycle for as long as power is applied. Don't order it until you get the switch figured out.

You are a fast learner! The brake switch will work the same but keep in mind there may be 2 switches, 1 for the ECM (5volts) and one for brake lights(12volts). As long as you find the correct circuit you will be ok. Is the cruise working ok? Sometimes they disconnect the wire to keep from idling.

Edit: Im sure I know where the brake light switch is as I have a creeper and am under my truck all the time. -
Let me know what you find and we'll go from there.
