Ok all, kinda confused. I talked to my recruiter yesterday and told her I would have to change my training date to mid April. I informed her that I was going to MTC in St. Louis ( partnership school with Stevens) and she told me that I would have to go to Denver, which is fine. Has Stevens pulled out of MTC? Is the Denver school just like Dallas? Thanks!

I emptied in Upper Marlboro last night, 90 miles from home, have taken no hometime since early Dec so thought this would be a good time, then I saw forecasts for that storm and said nevermind... on my way to Edwardsville.
My Sister in Law sent me a text today with a picture of the snow at their house, they had to shovel a path for the dog to get out. If any of you have ever delivered to Taunton, MA you have been within a mile and a half of their home. So it's pretty bad up there right now. Be careful heading in there. -
I went to school in Denver it is actually east of Denver around 30 miles I believe. Good instructors, crap equipment and dirt yard but it makes you learn the mechanics of backing. So you will have it a little easier on the road. The yard is also dirt and that can play havoc depending on the weather. The house you stay in has antenna tv on a old tube TV. Crap cell phone coverage unless you have Sprint, which I have so I was one of the few who could call out. Full kitchen with plenty of cookware and plates, etc. There is a Family Dollar a mile or so down the street they have some good prices on food also a Market across from the office which is right around the corner from the house. The little restaurant on the corner is pretty good and not bad priced. Listen to the instructors and LEARN what they tell you. They look rough but they are knowledgeable. Also if you are lucky you get to do a mountain, I70 west of Denver up to Idaho Springs and back. I think it is 6% grade. Oh the road test trucks are much better than the yard ones but not even close to the trucks in Texas. Study your CDL handbook DO NOT just do the sample tests you will probably fail. There are a lot of questions on the written test that are not covered in the sample tests that are covered in the book. Good Luck

Sitting here in NJ on I78 just past exit 7 looking at a parking lot. Major accident up the road closed both sides. I am parked at the rest area so I'm stuck until it's cleared. Joy. Time to send a running late macro.

I was headed to St. Louis in a couple of weeks, but was just told that the plans had changed and I'd be going to Denver.
It does sound as though their may have been a falling out.
