I'm going to do the deletes and tune on my ISX cm2250. I am told with deletes and tune with different turbo I will lose 60% of my jake. I was wondering if anyone has installed the Blue Ox exhaust brake and what your thoughts are. Thanks for your input.

Did you ever install this blue ox on too engine...? If so how did it operate...1-10?
-
I already have that part, just was looking for install info...I'm putting in a 2013 dodge Cummings desiel...
-
2013 cummins should already have an exhaust brake, putting another on would probably do nothing.
-
Um no on it doing nothing, a blue ox builds back pressure in the exhaust like a smaller turbo will. Blue ox with a jake brake should work great. But I have reservations on the back pressure being to high if not adjusted correctly and blow out manifold gaskets. Adjust it correctly it would work great.Oxbow Thanks this.

But a dodge cummins doesn't have real jakes, it just has an exhaust brake similar to the blue ox, coming off the turbo.

I thought we were talking about the ISX engines.

The op was talking about an isx, the one I quoted was talking about a dodge.
