9 months, 90000 miles, two level 1 inspections, one level 2 inspection, one level 3 inspection. Not enough for me to concern myself about whether or not that next coop is open or how to get around it. Ornery DOT agents? Yep. Ornery with ME? Nope. I have my stuff together, hand them what they ask for, don't give them any attitude, sideways looks or argument, and I'm on my way pronto. They want back in their chair just as fast as I want back on the road.

    #### son....

You need to fall back and regroup...

That's one inspection every other month.

What are you doing to get pulled in that often?

You will understand one day when the officer points out to you that you forgot to add your miles for one day, 6 days ago and writes you a ticket. Any minor, harmless innocent mistakes so they can write you a ticket for some of your money. Now if you also have no problem going through all the legal bs to keep your record clean, more power to you. It is often cheaper/easier to just pay for the minor infraction and carry on.

I've never been given an inspection at a weigh station, just on the roadside in Arizona.

problem with that app. 90% of the time it's wrong. like you said, reported by drivers. and it seems drivers love to play games.

i use an app called droidtruckerstop. it don't show you scales that are never used. and listed on the atlas. and it shows scales that are pull offs. not listed in the atlas. so far. i've only seen one scale in the wrong location. on both app and atlas. and that would be the one south of eugene oregon on the 5.

The only scales south of Eugene are Boomer Hill, which is south of Roseburg (about 100 miles south of Eugene) and Ashland, which is right near Ashland, about 200 miles south of Eugene.

Allstays truck and travel app will show weigh stations, truck stops, and walmarts. I've used it for 2 years and found it to be very reliable.
