Actually, my DM got me a day of layover pay.

I'm glad I'm finally done with that load.

I went today to pick up my next load and was told it wasn't scheduled until the 12th at 1400.
The pick up time had changed since I got the pplan.

I called a DM in Fontana and explained the situation and the dispatch was voided. A bit later I got another load picking up tomorrow and delivering on Monday, with 200 more miles than the one before and delivering sooner.

They didn't relax it, they made it more clear.

And, what is the new load system?

    scottied67 Thanks this.

Moose, I just posted up a thread on it. It's a pilot to make more loads available to O/Os.

Can you post that onduty policy? Went to the portal, clicked thru to it but the page is blank. Thanks

At the Richmond terminal terminal taking a day off.

Since my last post I took a load of washers-n-dryers to Sears in Nashville (from El Paso), a load of fans to Walmart in NC, a Crown Cork-N-Seal load of MT aluminum cans from SC to Baltimore, and a Clorox load from Aberdeen, MD to Ricmond.

Next load is tomorrow, headed to Dublin, GA. Managed to avoid the NE during the recent winter storm. I don't mind running in the south, not crazy about the mid-Atlantic region. I'd prefer to stay out west if I can avoid running heavy like I did for the month I ran out there. Spent a TON of $$$ on fuel.

    Pittsburg, KS.
Just picked up a load to Gardner, MA, with one extra stop.
Not sure I really want to be going up there, but the miles are good.
