most of the guys that are not doing as well are the ones that turn stuff down they seem to only want to do what they want but then get mad when they arent making the money

we started first of june and i think we had 54 all to gether with the cdl people only 18 graduated and all but 1 are still with company and 7 have leased trucks so far , frieght is slow right now 1st quarter is allways slower than other 3 and its not just ffe have you noticed how full the truck stops are in the middle of the day , I have been getting my 3k plus miles a week allmost every week i did have a week or 2 around 2500 things should be picking up soon , I think the trainers need to do a better job at teaching there students how to work within the companys system and time and clock management to make as much money as they can ,and some of the trainers are lacking in that also dispatch is really too busy to hold some of these peoples hand like they seem to need . theres more to driving a truck then just the the driving part you need to learn both .there seems to be quite a bit of drama with some of these new drivers ,last month i was in lancaster a lady driver was sitting there on the picnic table complaining she wasnt making any money she took her truck into the shop because 1 of her 12 volt outlets was broke well this was friday morning and they needed a part that wouldnt be there till monday or tuesday so she was going to sit there and wait 4 or 5 days over 1 outlet when the trucks have 6 bor 7 in them -- does anybody else see a problem with that and how stupid that was and if you dont you might want to get on with taco bell you will make more money , theres quite a few people that make some pretty good money with this company now wouldnt it make sense to ask them for advice theres also a lot of drivers to busy taking care of there pets to be bothered with making money

I have used Qualcomm, and I loved it, it is much more user friendly than peoplenet. Plus The one thing Qualcomm will ALWAYS be better than peoplenet is because Qualcomm is a one piece unit. Peoplenet is a two piece set uo-more connections eqauls more chance of breakdown of the system. Give me Qualcomm anyday!!

The real miles are in Alcon, Johnson and Johnson and Exel loads.

If you're fortunate, and I mean really lucky you'll have to pull a blood plasma load out of the west coast if something happens to the guys who pick up in city of industry and deliver in North Carolina.

Meat miles aint bad miles, they just usually deliver to bad places.

FFE is railing all of the Hershey loads lately, take away from that- what you will.

EDIT: I forgot to mention produce loads are amazing miles usualy. And since they're extremely time sensitive the receivers usually get you into a door asap. The flip side of that being you absolutely cannot screw one up. Whether its an error in time judgement or you think "eh, I'm gonna work my clock" or you even think you might not have enough hours (and end up not having enough.) or you let the temps slip or whatever. DO NOT SCREW UP PRODUCE LOADS. Especially under Cavin (west coast) or the three guys that handle the east coast- Why?
Simple; You will never, EVER, get another one. Those guys I mentioned, ESPECIALLY Cavin- remember names and truck numbers as well as previous successes and failures.

And these are coast to coast loads, we're talking LA to Bangor freggin Maine. As a solo driver, no less.

I dont know where you get your info from cabwrecker but you better ask for your money back.NO you dont get in doors fast in a produce load it may have been that way for you but for those that have driven (more than a yr) we know that aint true..also NO they are not railing hersey geez how many times u been there obviously not many they would have a fleet of cr englands running them day and night if it was a rail freight. also most of hershey loads are near my home so try telling that story to another newbie wontcha...

EDIT: I've reversed my thinking on this topic, and have deemed you a forum troll. Take my advice, don't take my advice, I honestly do not care.
I'm rooting for this company to tank, frankly. They're a mediocre company for what has been a mostly, mediocre experience that will cater to mediocre drivers. Buck, obviously I do not point this view at you as I consider you a friend since I've known you from about a week after the day I made the choice to join FFE's fleet and know you to be both a competent man and driver.

Mattress monkey- Please do not stir the pot.
With the exception of my edited post this particular thread has been filled with good information for drivers looking to come to this company (which I don't necessarily advice against, but look around a bit more before settling for FFE.)
