Yea me too. Wouldn't it be 84?
14 on + 10 off = 24 hrs
x5 = 70
still 48 available, use 34 for reset, now 14 available
70+14 = 84
?
Perhaps they were thinking the Canadian HOS. We require 36 hour reset.....
New HOS regulations.

i think under ideal circumstances, if you start 00:01 on monday, drive 11, stop for 10, drive 11...by thurs night, do a 34, by sunday 23:59 you can have 82 hrs onduty

Formulaic BS.
I do not condone, in any way, shape, or form....any type of violence or illegal activity that some of these hard-core anti-government types get involved in, and would never participate in any type of such activity myself.
HOWEVER, I'm beginning to at least understand their rage, hatred, and utter loathing toward our government.snowblind, volvodriver01 and LaBubba Thank this. -

this is pure madness

Is the 30 minute break needed before you hit 8 hours of driving or does line 4 count towards that too?
-
Why bother to comment when they justify their actions by summarily dismissing comments?
If we were only as smart as they are, we would have a good job allowing us to live a 'normal' lifestyle, they are only doing this because the drivers are too stupid to take care of themselves.(I am not seriously about to believe the preceding statement)
I read the some of the comments from the last time and read the reactions to the comments or lack of reaction.
I even know a few of those who bothered to comment.48Packard Thanks this. -
